Madden '06 Gets New Features
Financial Spread Trading You probably already know that the only NFL game you'll be playing for years to come will have EA's logo on the box. (Same for NCAA Football, as EA has exclusive rights and has announced NCAA Football 2006.) Many have feared that the exclusivity of the NFL deal would lead EA to becoming lazy and not bringing things up a level in their next games. Well, you won't need to worry about that this year folks as EA has announced some additions to the Madden franchise for 2006.
The biggest new addition is the cone of vision, dubbed QB Vision, from the quarterback's perspective. Gamers will be limited to passing only to other players that the quarterback can actually see on the field. That means you won't be able to have one player run way out on the opposite side of the field from the quarterback and throw it across. The cone of vision also shrinks as the players distance from the QB increases. Individual quarterback stats from real life will affect just how good their vision is.
QB Vision isn't the extent of what will be new in the next iteration of Madden. Stay tuned for more info on the only game in town soon!
