Bentley 240 Cruise

The folks who started Bentley last year had a long history in the pontoon business, having been among the top dealers in the country for several years. That vast experience on the retail end gave the owners insight into what pontoon boat buyers want -- and for how much. They've put it all together, including an incredible price, in their 240 Cruise.

The boat is one of Bentley's six offerings -- three each at 20 and 24 feet. It is a little bit of everything -- a boat for tubing, fishing or cruising with as many as 20 people aboard.

Three bench seats up front and an extended L-shaped lounge aft provide room for all those people to relax. The driver sits at a double helm seat addressing a console with a standard AM/FM/CD stereo head unit. The boat also comes equipped with a combination grill and cooler; a mini-galley if you will. A 9-foot Bimini is ready to protect it and the friends.

The boat rides high on 25-inch pontoons for faster and more economical voyages. Those tubes, and the all-aluminum transom, have lifetime workmanship warranties. The carpet, seats and seat covers carry five-year warranties.

You can add a playpen cover, full or half enclosures, a bigger motor and more fun stuff. The price, just over 13 grand, will make it more fun and affordable for buyers to accessorize.
