Dirt Out, Lube In

Financial Spread Trading When steering cables get dirty and corroded, it makes steering more difficult. To combat this nuisance, Davis Products makes Lube II, a device that keeps dirt out of steering-rod housings and lubes them to boot.
The nice part about Lube II is its simplicity. Just thread it onto the steering-rod housing. A fitting that screws into the nut allows the user to lube the housing with Davis Products' Max Lube (shown), 90-weight gear oil or white grease. Stainless-steel construction allows for fresh and saltwater use, and it installs in about 10 minutes. Lube II sells for $19.95.
