Price of oil slightly lower, markets on the rise – at least we're having a little excitement in August. Consistent with our earlier prediction, the staff at tech:stocker don't believe there will be any sustained rallies in the August so enjoy the ebbs and flows as they will prevent you from completely dismissing the stocks listed on your iPhone. Word on the street has it that the Google phone will be known as the G1, and it will come around courtesy of HTC. It is pretty interesting to note that the G1 will retail for $150 during the first week, with the price rising by another 33% the week after followed by a $400 price point thereafter. Don't say that you have not been warned! It is interesting to see who will pick up the G1 considering the iPhone 3G has been around for a couple of months already.
